ABOUT US

Commissioned Incorporated is a non-profit religious corporation which serves as the umbrella to a diversity of efforts to fulfill “The Great Commission” given by Jesus Christ is Matthew 28:19-20

Mission

Proclaiming and demonstrating the message and power of Jesus Christ throughout the earth by every means possible.

Beliefs

God is a triune being eternally existent in three persons being of one substance and unified purpose and three different operations as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit in sanctification, transformation, unification, empowerment for service, and revelation.

The Holy Bible is a living textbook inclusive of history, poetry, wisdom, prophecy, and a record of the life and ministry of Jesus and the first century apostles and church and is to be read, studied, and taught with consideration of context and relative application to the development of Christlike faith, character, conduct, and conviction.

Salvation is accomplished through an individual’s choice to repent from sin and put their faith in Jesus the Christ and His message and finished work on the Cross where they are made free from the penalty and power of sin and is culminated through the new birth where a person becomes spiritually alive and simultaneously adopted into the family of God where they are also granted citizenship as a part of the eternal Kingdom of Heaven to which they must remain committed for the rest of their lives and eternity.

The Church is not “a place” but “a people” who have put their faith in Christ, been born of His Spirit and are committed to following His teachings.

The Body of Christ is a term that refers to people who have put their faith in Christ, been born of His Spirit, and are committed to following His teachings and is used to illustrate the idea that we are Christs body in the earth as we continue His mission through the power He supplies.

Sharing the Gospel is a responsibility of both the individual believer and the church at large and should be made a priority.

Leaders in the Church/Body of Christ are those whom Christ has chosen to fulfill the calling to equip those who follow Christ to serve Him, and serve others, spread the Gospel, and grow into Godly character. They are to be recognized, honored, and respected for their work, but never followed beyond what the Holy Bible teaches. Leaders are to be prepared and matured before operating in roles of authority and are to live at the highest standards of scripture and are held at a greater accountability towards others. Leaders who stray away from the teachings of Christ without remedy or repentance should not be permitted to continue in their positions.

Supernatural Gifts are given to those who have put their faith in Christ and been born again and should be used with Biblical principles as their guide and never in an attempt to receive personal attention or accomplish personal goals but only to bear witness to Christ and the truth of His word and message of Salvation.

Communion and Baptism are actions that illustrate our commitment to Christ and understanding of what He has done for us and what it means to follow Him. People should only participate in this activities after they have chosen to commit their lives to Christ.

Ceremonies such as weddings and baby dedications should be conducted with Biblical standards and teachings as their guide without compromise.

Equality among ethnicities, genders, and those from different backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses is a Biblical standard that should be upheld by all people of faith in public and private and in matters of Church, family, and career.

Sexuality should be considered a sacred thing and should not treated casually as is in the modern day world. God has given a measure of grace and mercy to all to learn, embrace, and apply these teachings about this matter, and the scriptures are clear in stating matters of sexuality are very important those who follow Christ and should not be passed off as irrelevant or unimportant to ones’ relationship with God and lifestyle of faith..

Money should be managed with God and His will as its greatest focus of priority. Those who follow Christ are called to live in constant pursuit of God and His will and not in the pursuit of money from a motivation of personal gratification or greed. Learning about the importance of managing money with wisdom and integrity, giving to the work of the Lord, giving to leaders, and giving to others should be a priority for all those who follow Christ. It is Biblical in nature to support those who do the work of ministry but those who give to those leaders should never be manipulated for personal gain or unnecessarily pressured to give beyond what the Bible teaches.

Co-existence to the follower of Christ does not mean to agree, celebrate, or advocate any practice or lifestyle that doesn’t line up with Biblical teachings, but rather to love others as Christ loves us and focus on being a light in darkness and not a light on darkness. When we as believers teach Biblical principles privately or publicly concerning the matters that are most controversial in our modern day and culture, we are commissioned to speak the truth in love, with great compassion, and do our best to never be angry, cruel, or insensitive to those who we share these truths with remembering that Christ himself came to seek and save those who were lost.
